This is my first blog and I'm super excited to share my new makeup vanity for all the makeup lovers out there just like me. After searching in the internet and local stores I couln't find a makeup vanity that fit my budget as Im a new mom and most of my money goes to my precious little one. I decided it was time to create my own so I went to Ikea and purchased two shelves which where $7 dollars each and the brackets which where .50 cents each (I used 7 of them 3 for the top shelve and 4 for the bottom). I installed them at a desk level so I can easily apply my makeup and in between left room for makeup storage. I installed a mirror close to the top shelve and that cost me $24.99 in Homegoods store, but I saw alot in Ikea starting at $9.99. It came out divine and for under $50 I have my self a very nice and expensive looking makeup station. I decorated it with animal print because its one of my faves and accesorized it using very inexpensive items like my makeup brushes holder is a crystal accent pot I found at Ross for $3.00.
